Wildone Stainless Steel Baking Sheet Set (3-Piece)
Important Note on Bakeware
When I’m choosing bakeware, I avoid nonstick Teflon coatings, forever chemicals, aluminum as a direct food-contact surface, heavy metals like lead and cadmium, plastics such as Tritan, and materials that rely on chemical finishes or nanoparticles to perform. I look for straightforward, uncoated materials where food is in direct contact with the surface.
Product Description
This Wildone baking sheet set includes three stainless steel sheet pans in varying sizes for everyday baking tasks like cookies, roasted vegetables, and sheet-pan meals. The baking surfaces are fully uncoated stainless steel, meaning there’s no nonstick layer, glaze, or chemical coating between your food and the pan.
What I Like
I like that this set keeps things very simple. All three pans use stainless steel only, with no coatings, no forever-chemical style finishes, and no added nanoparticles. The different sizes make it practical for daily use while still fitting into a low-tox kitchen approach.
Things to Keep in Mind
Stainless steel isn’t naturally nonstick, so some foods may stick without parchment paper, a silicone liner, or a light layer of oil. It can also heat differently than aluminum pans, but for me, the trade-off is worth it for an uncoated, low-tox baking surface.
