Start Here: Kitchen Foundations
These are the Kitchen products I use daily and recommend starting with
Cast Iron Cookware
This is what I use for everyday cooking, and it is one of the easiest ways to avoid nonstick coatings.
It’s simple, durable, and a good option if you’re looking to keep what your food is cooked on as minimal as possible.
Glass Food Storage
This is what I use to store leftovers and for meal prep instead of plastic.
Heat, acidic foods, and fats can increase the amount that transfers from plastic into food, which is why I prefer glass for everyday use.
Stainless Steel Bakeware
This is what I use for baking instead of nonstick pans.
It’s a good option if you’re looking to avoid coatings and keep things simple when it comes to what your food is baked on.
What I look for:
No nonstick coatings (like PTFE or “Teflon”)
No direct-contact aluminum
Minimal use of plastic, especially with heat
Simple, durable materials like glass, cast iron, and stainless steel
