RejuveNaturals Organic Castor Oil
Important note on category
Castor oil is a single-ingredient botanical oil often used for targeted conditioning and external use. In a low-tox routine, I look closely at sourcing, processing method, and whether the oil is truly pure.
What I avoid / What I look for
I avoid added fragrance, fillers, preservatives, and solvent-extracted oils. I look for organic certification and cold-pressed processing.
Product description
RejuveNaturals Organic Castor Oil is a one-ingredient oil made from castor seeds and cold-pressed to preserve its natural fatty acid profile. Like most castor oils, it has a thick, viscous texture that stays in place once applied, making it well suited for targeted use rather than quick-absorbing, all-over application.
Ingredients
Organic Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil

USDA Certified Organic
Cold-pressed
Hexane-free
What I like
I like this oil for both skin and body care when I want something simple and intentional. I use it on my scalp or hair ends to support moisture and reduce dryness, and on skin for dry patches and cuticles.
I also personally use castor oil externally as an overnight wrap when I’m bloated, constipated, or dealing with inflammation. I apply it topically to the abdomen or joints and let it sit overnight as part of my routine. For me, this feels supportive and grounding during times when my body needs extra care.
The thicker texture works well for these uses because it stays in place rather than spreading or absorbing too quickly.
Things to keep in mind
Castor oil is naturally thick and can feel heavy if overapplied, so a little goes a long way. Patch testing is a good idea if you’re new to castor oil or have sensitive skin. When using it overnight or on larger areas, I recommend wearing older clothing or placing a towel over the area, as castor oil can stain fabrics.
