This cleansing bar is made with organic palm oil (RSPO certified), organic and fair trade coconut oil, organic olive oil, sodium hydroxide (used in the saponification process), organic coconut milk, pink kaolin clay, essential oils of organic geranium, organic rosemary, and organic carrot seed, organic rose powder, and organic rosemary extract.

Certifications & Standards

  • Made in the USA

  • Small-batch production

  • Free from petrochemicals, synthetic preservatives, parabens, phthalates, and plastic-derived ingredients

What I Like

  • EWG Rating: 1 — based on adding the ingredient list into the EWG Skin Deep Analyzer to assess overall ingredient safety.

  • I love using this as the second step after one of their oil cleansers for a simple double-cleanse routine. The oil cleanser melts away makeup, sunscreen, and buildup, and the bar finishes the cleanse so skin feels truly clean and balanced, not stripped.

  • Uses saponified organic oils rather than synthetic surfactants to cleanse gently and effectively.

  • Coconut milk and pink kaolin clay help cleanse and clarify without disrupting the skin barrier.

  • Rose powder, rosemary extract, and essential oils provide botanical support and antioxidant benefits.

  • Leaves skin feeling clean, soft, and refreshed rather than tight or stripped.

  • The solid bar format reduces packaging waste and simplifies daily skincare routines.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • This bar contains essential oils (geranium, rosemary, carrot seed), which may irritate very sensitive or reactive skin.

  • Sodium hydroxide is necessary for soap-making and is fully neutralized during saponification.

  • As with all solid cleansing bars, allow it to dry thoroughly between uses to extend its life.

Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations

The base oils (palm, coconut, olive), coconut milk, clay, rose powder, and antioxidant botanicals are generally considered low risk for topical use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

This formula also contains essential oils such as rosemary, geranium, and carrot seed. These are not linked to confirmed hormonal or developmental concerns at cosmetic-use levels, but essential oils can feel more stimulating or aromatic during pregnancy, especially if your skin becomes more reactive or scent-sensitive.

There is no confirmed evidence that this bar is unsafe when used as directed during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you know you respond strongly to essential oils or tend to experience increased sensitivity during pregnancy, patch testing can be helpful.
