Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Eye Firming Creme

This rich eye cream is made with a concentrated blend of certified organic oils, beeswax, and botanical extracts designed to support a smoother, more nourished under-eye area. The base is built around jojoba, argan, rosehip, olive, pumpkin seed, sea buckthorn, and vitamin E, giving it a more balm-like feel that seals in moisture and helps the under-eye look more supported and less dry.

It also includes comfrey, eyebright, plantain, and burdock, plus a blend of essential oils that give it a distinctly botanical scent.

What I Like

  • EWG rating: 3, based on entering the ingredient list into the EWG Skin Deep Analyzer.

  • I like that this is a true oil-and-wax eye cream. If you’re someone whose under-eyes get dry easily, this kind of richer texture can feel really supportive.

  • The oil blend here is solid. Rosehip, sea buckthorn, argan, and pumpkin seed oil are all ingredients I personally love for a more nourished look.

  • A little goes a long way, which is what I want with an eye product.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • This contains several essential oils, including multiple citrus oils, geranium, frankincense, and carrot seed. The eye area can be more sensitive than the rest of the face, and essential oils can be more noticeable for fragrance-reactive or reactive skin types.

  • This is not vegan due to beeswax.

  • If you are acne-prone and know certain oils trigger congestion for you, using a minimal amount and keeping it strictly to the orbital bone can help.

Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations

This formula does not include retinoids. The biggest consideration is sensitivity, especially around the eyes. The essential oil blend is the most likely reason someone might experience stinging or watering eyes, particularly if you are rosacea-prone, eczema-prone, barrier-impaired, or fragrance-reactive.

This also includes bakuchi seed oil. Many people are comfortable with bakuchiol-type botanicals topically, but pregnancy comfort levels vary. If you prefer to keep pregnancy skincare very minimal, you may choose to avoid bakuchi/bakuchiol products out of extra caution.
