KOMUEE Glass Food Storage Containers (18-Piece)

Important Note on Food Storage

When I’m choosing food storage containers, I pay attention to the toxins often flagged in plastics, like BPA, BPS, phthalates, and other chemicals that can leach into food — especially when containers are used for acidic foods, reheating, or long-term storage. I avoid plastics touching food directly and look for glass and stainless steel for the surfaces that contact my food.

Product Description

This KOMUEE set includes a variety of glass food storage containers designed for everyday use, from leftovers to meal prep. The containers are made from tempered glass, and the lids use silicone gaskets with plastic locking clips to create an airtight seal.

What I Like

I like that food is stored directly against glass rather than plastic. Glass doesn’t absorb odors, stain easily, or carry the same chemical concerns as plastic containers. It’s a practical way to reduce plastic contact in daily food storage without overcomplicating things.

Things to Keep in Mind

The lids include plastic and silicone components for sealing and locking. While the food itself sits against glass, the lids are still part of the system. For me, this is a reasonable balance when transitioning away from plastic-heavy storage rather than trying to eliminate everything at once.
