What I like:
EWG Rating: 2 — low hazard, placing this in a realistic low-tox range for brow products.
This formula is built on plant oils and botanical waxes, without plastic polymers or petroleum waxes.
Organic coconut oil and vitamin E help condition brow hairs while preventing dryness.
Carnauba and candelilla waxes provide natural structure and hold without synthetic film-formers.
Pigment is derived from iron oxides, not synthetic dyes.
This pencil aligns with petroleum-free, plant-forward beauty standards.
Things to keep in mind:
This is a natural wax-based brow pencil, so wear time will be softer than ultra-long-wear synthetic formulas.
Because it is free from plastic film-formers, it may require minor touch-ups throughout the day.
This brow pencil is not waterproof.
As with all natural makeup, temperature can affect firmness, especially in warmer environments.
Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations
Coconut oil, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, hydrogenated vegetable oil, vitamin E, and glyceryl caprylate are generally considered low risk for topical use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Plant-derived emollients like polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate and C10–18 triglycerides are also considered pregnancy-compatible and are not linked to reproductive or hormonal concerns.
Benzyl alcohol is used at low concentrations as a preservative; while typically considered low risk in topical formulas, very sensitive skin may experience mild irritation.
Iron oxides and mica are inert mineral pigments and widely accepted as pregnancy-compatible when used in pressed or pencil formulas, where inhalation exposure is minimal.
This formula does not include retinoids or synthetic salicylic acid, and based on the listed ingredients, there are no obvious pregnancy-specific red flags. However, because individual sensitivities can change during pregnancy and postpartum, patch testing is always recommended.
