Fontana Candle Co Beeswax & Coconut Oil Wood Wick Candle (Unscented)

Important note on candles

When I choose candles for my home, I look closely at the wax base and how the candle is made. Many candles on the market use paraffin wax and fragrance blends, which provide limited ingredient transparency. Since candles are burned indoors and become part of the everyday environment, I prefer options made with simpler materials and clear formulation choices.

What I avoid / what I look for

I generally avoid paraffin (petroleum-based) wax, synthetic fragrance blends, artificial dyes, and metal-cored wicks. I look for beeswax or plant-based waxes, untreated wicks, unscented or essential-oil-based options, and brands that prioritize transparency and third-party standards.

Product description

I like this Fontana Candle Co. beeswax and coconut oil candle because it keeps things minimal and intentional. It’s made with a blend of beeswax and coconut oil and features an untreated wood wick, with no added fragrance or dyes. The wax blend burns smoothly and evenly, and the wood wick creates a soft crackle that adds warmth without overpowering a space. The glass jar has a simple, understated look that fits well into a low-plastic, thoughtfully curated home. This is a great option if you want the ambiance of a candle without added scent.

Things to keep in mind

Because this candle is unscented and made without stabilizers or fragrance, any aroma comes naturally from the wax and wood wick. Allowing a full melt pool on the first burn helps it perform best over time.
