Easyworkz Stainless Steel Stovetop Espresso Maker (Moka Pot)

Important Note on Coffee Appliances

When I’m choosing beverage equipment, I avoid materials and coatings that may introduce unwanted chemicals into my drinks. That includes nonstick finishes, forever chemicals, plastics in contact with hot liquids, aluminum directly touching the liquid, heavy metals like lead and cadmium, and nanoparticles. I prefer simple, inert materials where coffee only touches surfaces I can trust.

Product Description

This stovetop espresso maker (Moka pot) is constructed from stainless steel and designed to brew rich espresso-style coffee on gas, electric, or induction stovetops. The coffee chamber, filter, and water reservoir are all made from stainless steel, so there’s no coating or questionable material touching the hot water or brewed coffee.

What I Like

I like that this espresso maker uses stainless steel throughout, with no nonstick coatings, no forever-chemical finishes, no plastics in contact with liquid, and no aluminum touching the water or coffee grounds. It’s a straightforward brewing tool that keeps your coffee in contact only with a material I feel comfortable heating and drinking from.

Things to Keep in Mind

Stainless steel doesn’t extract heat exactly like aluminum, so the brew can take a little longer or require slight adjustment in heat compared with traditional aluminum Moka pots. It also won’t have the lightweight feel of aluminum, but I personally prefer the simplicity and low-tox contact surface for everyday use.
