What I like:
Uses plant-derived gentle surfactants (corn sugar + coconut oil derivatives) instead of harsher sulfates.
Free from dyes, soy, gluten, and designed to be biodegradable — aligns with my low-tox + cleaner living approach.
Contains a mix of botanicals and fruit oils (chamomile, nettle, dandelion, green apple, pineapple, avocado oil) that support hair health and shine without heavy chemicals.
The citrus scent is bright and refreshing, great if you like something uplifting without synthetic fragrance overload.
Things to keep in mind:
It does include natural fragrance via citrus oil (Citrus tangerina) — so if you or your audience are ultra-sensitive to scent, that may warrant a patch test.
“Daily moisturizing” means it’s optimized for normal to slightly dry hair; if you have dehydrated, curly, or chemically-treated hair, you may need a richer or more targeted shampoo.
As with many cleaner shampoos, the lather may be lighter or feel different from conventional foamy shampoos — this is expected. A second wash may help if you’re transitioning.
Even though the formula is simpler, “low-tox” doesn’t mean zero risk — botanical extracts can still trigger sensitivities.
