Caboo Bamboo Baby Wipes
Important note on baby wipes
When I’m choosing wipes for baby’s skin, I focus on the wipe material and the solution it’s soaked in. Wipes are used often and on sensitive areas, so I prefer options that keep the ingredient list as simple as possible and clearly disclose what’s being used.
What I avoid in baby wipes
With baby wipes, I personally avoid synthetic fragrance blends, harsh detergents like SLS/SLES, and preservatives that are more commonly linked to irritation, especially methylisothiazolinone (MI) and methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCI). I also skip formaldehyde-releasing preservatives like DMDM hydantoin and bronopol, parabens, phenoxyethanol, and ingredients like propylene glycol and PEG ingredients. I avoid triclosan and alcohol in everyday wipes.

What I like
I like that the wipe material is clearly disclosed, the ingredient list is short and easy to understand, and the formula stays unscented without unnecessary extras.
Things to keep in mind
There really aren’t “perfect” baby wipes. Because wipes are wet and stored for extended periods, some type of preservative system is always necessary. For me, this comes down to choosing the most transparent option with the simplest, least problematic ingredients available.
