Araza Coconut Cream Foundation

This nourishing, coconut-oil–based cream foundation is designed to act like “skin food,” offering light-to-medium, buildable coverage with a dewy, natural finish. The formula blends organic oils, mineral pigments, and post-biotic ingredients to hydrate, soothe, and support the skin barrier while evening out the complexion.

Ingredients:

Formulated with organic fractionated coconut oil (MCT oil), non-nano zinc oxide, beeswax, jojoba seed oil, argan oil, rosehip seed oil, natural clays and mineral pigments, a coconut-derived post-biotic, neem seed oil, natural vitamin E, silica, and earth minerals for pigment and texture.

What I like:

  • Nourishing, skin-supportive formula that blends organic oils, post-biotics, and minerals to moisturize and protect the skin while providing coverage.

  • Light-to-medium, buildable coverage that maintains a natural, “skin-like” appearance.

  • Dewy, hydrating finish — ideal for dry, mature, or combination skin that needs extra moisture.

  • Uses mineral pigments and non-nano zinc oxide instead of synthetic dyes or chemical sunscreens.

  • Free from parabens, silicones, synthetic fragrance, and petrochemicals — aligns well with low-tox beauty preferences.

  • Emollient-rich texture can help soften dry patches and support the skin barrier over time.

  • EWG rating is a 2.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Coverage is lighter than full-coverage formulas and may require layering for more noticeable correction.

  • The creamy, oil-rich texture may feel heavy for those who prefer matte or ultra-light foundations.

  • Oily skin types may experience shine and may need a mattifying primer or setting powder.

  • Coconut-derived ingredients can be comedogenic for some acne-prone skin types — patch testing is recommended.

Pregnancy / Breastfeeding Notes:

  • Generally considered pregnancy- and breastfeeding-friendly because it uses mineral pigments, plant oils, and natural waxes rather than retinoids, strong acids, or chemical sunscreens.

  • The natural oils (coconut, jojoba, argan, rosehip, neem) are commonly well tolerated, though anyone prone to congestion may want to monitor skin response.

  • Contains no parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, or other ingredients commonly avoided during pregnancy.

  • As with any botanical-rich formula, a patch test is helpful during pregnancy when skin can be more reactive.
