This is a luxe, balm-to-serum style body treatment designed to nourish, soften, and support firmer-looking skin deeply. It melts in with a velvety finish and leaves a subtle glow without feeling greasy, which makes it feel more like “face-grade” skincare for the body.

What I Like

I like the oil blend here. Jojoba, rosehip, argan, olive, avocado, and apricot oils give this a deeply nourishing feel that works especially well on dry or mature skin.

The inclusion of antioxidant-rich tomato fruit extract and PhytoSpherix™ adds a more targeted, skin-supportive element, which is nice if you want visible smoothing and glow beyond basic moisture.

It feels intentionally formulated, almost like a body serum and balm combined, and a little goes a long way.

EWG rating (EWG analyzer): 2.

Things to Keep in Mind

This is a premium product with a higher price point, so it’s more of a “treatment” than an everyday basic lotion for most people.

The texture is rich and cocooning. If you prefer very lightweight, fast-absorbing lotions, this may feel heavier, especially in warmer months.

It does contain natural fragrance / essential oils. While many people tolerate this well, fragrance-sensitive users may want to approach with care.

Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations

The brand does not make explicit pregnancy-specific claims for the proprietary actives (such as IBR-TCLC® and IBR-Chill™). If you’re pregnant or nursing and prefer a more conservative approach, it may be best to check with your provider or opt for a fragrance-free body moisturizer.

Essential oil transparency: essential oils can carry trace contaminants depending on sourcing and processing. I prioritize brands that test for purity and aim to minimize contaminants whenever possible.
