This rich, whipped body butter is formulated to deeply moisturize and soften dry skin, using a blend of botanical butters, aloe vera juice, and rose hydrosol. It’s meant to feel indulgent while still keeping ingredients plant-forward and free from petroleum-based fillers.

What I Like
I like the quality of the butter and oil base here. Cocoa butter, shea butter, avocado oil, argan oil, and rosehip seed oil are all well-known for supporting very dry or compromised skin.
The formula avoids petroleum-derived ingredients like mineral oil, petrolatum, and paraffin, which aligns well with a low-tox body care routine.
Despite its richness, the whipped texture makes it spread more easily than traditional dense body butters.
EWG rating (EWG analyzer): 2.
Things to Keep in Mind
This is a heavy, emollient-rich butter. In warm or humid weather, or if you prefer lightweight body lotions, it may feel too occlusive for all-over daily use. Many people prefer it as a nighttime or targeted moisture option.
The formula contains many botanical extracts, including flower and leaf extracts that contribute natural scent. While these aren’t synthetic fragrances, they can still be irritating for very fragrance-sensitive or reactive skin types.
Because of the richness, a small amount goes a long way.
Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations
If you have sensitive or reactive skin, patch testing is recommended, particularly given the number of botanical extracts.
Essential oil transparency: even when scent comes from botanical extracts rather than synthetic fragrance, plant-based aromatic compounds can carry trace contaminants depending on sourcing and processing. I prioritize brands that aim for ingredient transparency and minimize unnecessary additives whenever possible.
