NUK Simply Natural Glass Baby Bottles
Important note on baby bottles
Baby bottles are commonly used, typically with warm liquids such as breast milk or formula. Heat, fat, and acidity can influence how materials behave over time, especially with repeated warming and washing. For that reason, I pay close attention to material choice and transparency. I generally opt for glass or clearly disclosed safer plastics for bottles that regularly hold warm milk.
What I avoid in baby bottles
In this category, I avoid PVC and PUR, as well as BPA and BPS. I’m also mindful of contaminants such as lead, which can sometimes appear in decorative paints, inks, or coatings. I look for simple designs, minimal exterior decoration, and clear material disclosure so I know what’s actually in contact with the milk.
Product description
NUK Simply Natural Glass Baby Bottles use a glass bottle body paired with a silicone nipple and plastic components for the collar and cap. The nipple design focuses on a natural latch and controlled flow, with an integrated venting system intended to help reduce air intake during feeding. These bottles are designed for everyday use and are available in sizes appropriate for early feeding stages.
I like glass here because it’s stable for warm liquids, doesn’t absorb odors or residue, and is easy to clean thoroughly between uses.

Polypropylene components (collar and cap)
What I like
I like that the primary bottle material is glass, especially for warm milk and formula. I also appreciate that the materials used for each component are clearly stated. The nipple design is intended to support a natural feeding rhythm, and the overall bottle design is simple, with minimal exterior printing.
Things to keep in mind
Even with glass bottles, there are still silicone and plastic parts involved, like nipples and caps, so regular replacement and gentle care for those components matter. I also avoid putting the plastic cap in the dishwasher, since repeated high heat can wear on plastic over time. Hand-washing the cap is an easy way to be gentler with it.
