What I Like

I like that this formula is fluoride-free and avoids SLS and artificial colors or flavors, which many people prefer in a cleaner oral-care routine.

The botanical blend stands out here. Neem is traditionally used for gum and oral hygiene support, while pomegranate and amla bring antioxidant properties that can complement daily brushing.

Xylitol and stevia are used instead of artificial sweeteners, which is beneficial for both taste and oral health.

The cleansing system relies on coconut-derived and amino acid–derived surfactants rather than harsher foaming agents, which tend to be better tolerated for sensitive mouths.

EWG rating (EWG analyzer): 1.

Things to Keep in Mind

While the surfactants used are considered milder, this toothpaste still foams more than ultra-minimal formulas. If you prefer very low-foam pastes, that’s worth noting.

The herbal flavor profile is different from conventional mint toothpastes. Some people love it right away; others need a short adjustment period.

Sensitive Mouth & Pregnancy Considerations

This toothpaste does not contain fluoride or retinoid ingredients typically avoided during pregnancy.

Menthol and herbal extracts can feel stimulating for very sensitive gums or mouths. If you’re prone to irritation, starting with a smaller amount or alternating with a very mild toothpaste can help assess comfort.

Botanical extracts are present in functional amounts but are still generally considered low-risk in oral-care use. As always, personal tolerance matters most.
