Fitglow Beauty Foundation+
This plant-based, silicone-free foundation is formulated more like skincare — using botanicals, antioxidants, and moisture-supporting ingredients to even tone, smooth texture, and nourish the skin throughout the day. It delivers medium, buildable coverage with a natural, radiant finish and is designed to support the skin barrier, calm visible redness, and help with long-term skin health.
Ingredients
This foundation is made with purified water, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate, shea butter, jojoba esters, vegetable glycerin, sunflower seed oil, sodium hyaluronate, vitamin C (sodium ascorbyl phosphate), licorice root extract, bearberry extract, amber extract, heartleaf (Houttuynia cordata) extract, artemisia extract, tocopherol (vitamin E), cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, phytosterols, coco-caprylate, silica, iron oxides, and non-nano titanium dioxide, plus a vegetable-derived preservative system. (Ingredients may vary slightly by shade.)
What I Like
Serum-style foundation that blends skincare and makeup — aloe, hyaluronic-supporting ingredients, licorice, bearberry, heartleaf, and vitamin C help support brightness, hydration, and a calmer-looking complexion.
Silicone-free, talc-free, and fragrance-free, using plant-based emollients instead of heavy synthetic film-formers — great if you prefer a more breathable, low-tox base.
Medium, buildable coverage with a natural, radiant finish that still lets skin look like skin.
Antioxidant-rich botanicals help support more even tone and overall skin resilience over time, not just instant coverage.
Fitglow is a cruelty-free brand, and this formula is made without parabens, PEGs, dimethicone, or synthetic fragrance, which fits well with safer beauty preferences.
EWG Rating: 1 — When this ingredient list is added to the EWG Skin Deep Analyzer, it falls into the lowest hazard range.
Things to Keep in Mind
Because the formula is silicone-free and nutrient-dense, it applies best to well-moisturized skin. In colder months or on drier skin, a hydrating moisturizer or primer underneath helps prevent patchiness.
The consistency is slightly thicker than some conventional fluid foundations and blends best with fingers or a dense brush. Setting with a light powder can extend wear and reduce transfer.
If you’re very oily, you may need a mattifying primer or additional powder across the T-zone to keep shine in check by midday.
Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations
Many of the base ingredients in this foundation — including aloe, glycerin, shea butter, jojoba esters, sunflower oil, sodium hyaluronate, mineral pigments, and vitamin E — are generally considered low risk for topical use during pregnancy and breastfeeding when used as directed on intact skin.
This formula does not include retinoids, synthetic salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or chemical sunscreen filters, which are some of the more commonly avoided ingredients in pregnancy-safe routines. The brightening botanicals (licorice, bearberry) and plant extracts are used at cosmetic levels and are not classified as reproductive toxins, but like all actives, they can still be a bit more stimulating on very sensitive or hormonally reactive skin.
