This fluoride-free, SLS-free toothpaste features a bold peppermint flavour and uses organic, fair-trade ingredients to provide a clean brushing experience. It’s designed for those who want a minimalist, ethical, low-tox oral-care option.
Ingredients:
Organic Glycerin*, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Hydrated Silica, Calcium Carbonate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), Potassium Cocoate (made with Organic Coconut Oil**), Organic Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Organic Mentha Arvensis (Menthol) Crystals, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Flour, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil**, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Organic Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf / Stem Extract.
* Certified organic; ** Certified Fair Trade.
What I like:
The formula is clearly low-tox: fluoride-free and free of synthetic detergent foaming agents (SLS, etc), which fits well with my “safer-options” checklist.
Uses 70% organic ingredients and fair-trade certified coconut oil.
Cleansing + polish combination: hydrated silica, calcium carbonate, and baking soda provide gentle abrasives; coconut flour and coconut oil enhance the plant-based base.
Vegan, cruelty-free, and packaged sustainably (tube + recyclable) — aligns with your audience of toxin-aware, eco-conscious readers.
EWG hazard rating is 3.
Things to keep in mind:
The flavour and texture differ from conventional foaming toothpastes. Because it’s “low-foaming” and uses natural surfactants (coconut-derived potassium cocoate), it may feel unfamiliar if someone is used to heavy lather.
It uses peppermint essential oil and menthol crystals — for someone who is ultra-sensitive to flavour or fragrance, or who is pregnant/breastfeeding, you might want to recommend patch testing or introducing gradually.
