Bellemain Premium Stainless Steel Citrus Juicer

Important note on kitchen tools

When I choose kitchen tools that contact food — especially acidic juices — I avoid plastics, nylon, and coated surfaces that can break down or leach additives over time. I look for solid materials like stainless steel or titanium for items that will touch food frequently, especially with heat or acidic foods involved.

Materials

This juicer is made from stainless steel for the food-contact parts, with silicone accents on the handles for grip. Stainless steel is non-reactive with acids like lemon, lime, and orange juice, and it doesn’t rely on coatings or chemical finishes between your food and the metal.

What I like

I like that the parts touching your citrus are stainless steel without plastic or coated surfaces. Stainless resists corrosion, doesn’t absorb odors or flavors, and stays clean through repeated use. The silicone handles make it comfortable to squeeze without slipping, but the juice itself only contacts metal.

Things to keep in mind

Because this has silicone on the handles, I recommend hand washing rather than using the dishwasher to help limit any residues from dishwasher detergents and to preserve the silicone over time.
