Bees Wrap Assorted Sustainable Food Wraps

Important Note on Food Storage Materials

When I’m choosing food storage alternatives, I avoid plastics and chemical coatings that can leach BPA, BPS, phthalates, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) into food. I look for materials that are BPA/BPS-free and made from ingredients that are safe when in contact with food and minimal in processing. Natural food wraps that avoid plastic and chemical finishes are something I reach for when I want to skip single-use plastic wrap.

Product Description

Bees Wrap assorted food wraps are made from organic cotton fabric coated with beeswax, plant oils, and resin. The wraps are designed to cling around bowls, cover plates, and wrap produce or snacks, providing a reusable alternative to single-use plastic wrap. They come in assorted sizes to fit a range of foods and containers.

What I Like

I like that these wraps are made from natural, BPA/BPS-free ingredients and avoid the plastics and coatings that are common in traditional plastic wrap. Using beeswax and plant oils gives a flexible, cling-like wrap without introducing PFAS or other chemical finishes. They’re washable and reusable, which cuts down on disposable plastic use and keeps food in contact with safer materials.

Things to Keep in Mind

Because these wraps rely on wax and plant oils for their cling and flexibility, they work best at room temperature or for cold foods. They’re not ideal for hot items directly from the stove or oven, since the wax can soften. Regular rinsing with cool water and mild soap helps keep them clean and usable over time.
