All-Clad Stainless Steel Immersion Blender (2-Piece Turbo)

Important Note on Hand / Immersion Blenders

When I’m choosing an immersion blender, my top priority is minimizing plastic on surfaces that touch food. Since immersion blenders are used directly in pots, bowls, and purees, I focus on models with stainless steel blending shafts and blades rather than plastic housings or coated mixing ends. I also avoid nonstick coatings and treated surfaces in the blending area.

Product Description

The All-Clad Stainless Steel Immersion Blender features a stainless steel blending shaft and two uncoated blades designed to handle soups, smoothies, sauces, and purees. It includes a turbo button and a whisk attachment for basic whipping tasks.

For the blending area — the part that actually contacts your food — this model uses stainless steel without nonstick coatings or ceramic finishes. That keeps the food-contact materials straightforward.

What I Like

I like that the blending shaft and blades are stainless steel and uncoated. These are the surfaces that actually touch the food during blending, so having bare metal here aligns with how I choose lower-tox kitchen tools.

The detachable design makes cleanup easier, and stainless steel tends to hold up well over time.

Things to Keep in Mind

As with most immersion blenders, this works best when the shaft and blades are fully submerged during blending to reduce splatter and simplify cleanup.
