What I Like

  • EWG rating: 2, based on entering the ingredient list into the EWG Skin Deep Analyzer.

  • This is the kind of mask I reach for when my skin looks tired or feels tight, because it’s very hydration-forward.

  • I like the ingredient mix here. Aloe, hyaluronic acid, and allantoin are such a solid trio for comfort, and the ginseng + vitamin C + licorice feel like a nice “skin looks brighter” add-on without getting complicated.

  • The honey and royal jelly extracts give it a more nourishing feel compared to masks that are only focused on hydration.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • This contains honey and royal jelly extracts, so it is not vegan.

  • If you are sensitive to bee-derived ingredients (or have a known bee product allergy), this is a formula to skip or patch test very carefully.

  • Botanical extracts like ginseng, licorice, and peony are generally well-tolerated, but very reactive skin may still prefer to patch test first.

Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations

This formula does not include retinoids or other commonly pregnancy-restricted skincare actives. For sensitive or reactive skin, the most likely issue here is irritation related to bee-derived ingredients (royal jelly, honey) if you are allergy-prone, or general reactivity to botanical extracts. If you have eczema-prone skin, a compromised barrier, or known sensitivities, patch testing is a smart step before using the full mask.
