100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Lip Gloss
This nourishing lip gloss is made with a blend of plant oils, cocoa butter, and a plant-derived wax base, then tinted using fruit and botanical pigments instead of synthetic dyes. The texture is more conditioning than sticky, and it wears more like a lip treatment with color rather than a conventional gloss.
I like this as an option when you want shine and color, but still want to avoid petroleum-based gloss formulas.

What I Like
I like that this gloss is built on a true oil-and-butter base, so it feels nourishing instead of slick or silicone-like.
The color comes from fruit and botanical extracts, which is the entire point of the Fruit Pigmented line and fits well into a low-tox makeup routine.
It avoids petroleum-based gloss fillers, which is something I personally look for with lip products.
Things to Keep in Mind
EWG rating: 4, based on entering the ingredient list into the EWG Skin Deep Analyzer. The score is primarily driven by sweet almond oil (tree nut allergen), castor seed oil (irritation potential for some), and algae-derived ingredients like spirulina, which are often flagged due to limited data or contamination concerns. These flags are more relevant for people with known sensitivities than for the average user.
This contains sweet almond oil and is not suitable for those with a tree nut allergy.
Because lip products are used frequently and can be partially ingested, sensitivity matters more here than with other cosmetics.
Sensitive Skin & Pregnancy Considerations
This formula does not include retinoids or other commonly pregnancy-restricted actives. The main consideration is sensitivity rather than pregnancy-specific restrictions. If you are allergy-prone, have a tree nut allergy, or tend to react to algae or botanical extracts, patch testing with a small amount is a smart first step, especially if your lips are already dry or reactive.
