What I like:

  • EWG Rating: 2 — low hazard, placing this in a realistic low-tox range for brow products.

  • This formula is built on plant oils and botanical waxes, without plastic polymers or petroleum waxes.

  • Organic coconut oil and vitamin E help condition brow hairs while preventing dryness.

  • Carnauba and candelilla waxes provide natural structure and hold without synthetic film-formers.

  • Pigment is derived from iron oxides, not synthetic dyes.

  • This pencil aligns with petroleum-free, plant-forward beauty standards.

Things to keep in mind:

  • This is a natural wax-based brow pencil, so wear time will be softer than ultra-long-wear synthetic formulas.

  • Because it is free from plastic film-formers, it may require minor touch-ups throughout the day.

  • This brow pencil is not waterproof.

  • As with all natural makeup, temperature can affect firmness, especially in warmer environments.

Pregnancy / Breastfeeding Notes:

  • Coconut oil, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, hydrogenated vegetable oil, vitamin E, and glyceryl caprylate are considered low risk and safe for topical cosmetic use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

  • Polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate and C10–18 triglycerides are plant-derived emulsifiers and emollients considered pregnancy-compatible.

  • Benzyl alcohol is used at very low levels for cosmetic preservation and is considered low risk in topical products, though very sensitive skin may experience mild irritation.

  • Iron oxides and mica are inert mineral pigments and are considered pregnancy-compatible when used in pressed cosmetic products.

  • This formula contains no retinoids, salicylates, PFAS, endocrine disruptors, plastic polymers, or petroleum-derived ingredients.

  • Because this is a solid pencil (not a loose powder), inhalation exposure is minimal.
