What I Like
EWG Rating: 1 — based on adding the ingredient list into the EWG Skin Deep Analyzer to assess overall ingredient safety.
Formulated specifically for sensitive skin, making it an excellent option for babies, toddlers, and those prone to eczema or dryness.
Goat milk, shea butter, and olive oil help nourish and support the skin barrier while cleansing.
Calendula and chamomile extracts are known for their soothing, skin-calming properties.
Retaining the naturally occurring glycerin helps prevent moisture loss and keeps skin soft and hydrated after bathing.
Leaves skin feeling clean, calm, and comfortable rather than tight or dry.
I love using this as the second step after one of their oil cleansers for a simple double-cleanse routine. The oil cleanser melts away sunscreen, grime, and daily buildup, and this bar gently finishes the cleanse, leaving skin truly clean and calm without being stripped.
Things to Keep in Mind
This bar does contain lavender extract, which may still be a concern for extremely scent-sensitive individuals, even at low levels.
Sodium lactate is a natural humectant and hardening agent, but those with very reactive skin may still want to patch test first.
As with all solid cleansing bars, allow it to dry thoroughly between uses to help extend its life.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Notes
The base ingredients (coconut oil, goat milk, shea butter, olive oil), glycerin, and botanical extracts are generally considered low risk for topical use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Because this bar contains lavender extract, some pregnancy-focused practitioners recommend minimizing exposure to essential oils, especially during the first trimester.
If used while pregnant or nursing, patch testing is advised.
