What I Like
EWG Rating: 1 — based on adding the ingredient list into the EWG Skin Deep Analyzer to assess overall ingredient safety.
I love using this as the second step after one of their oil cleansers for a simple double-cleanse routine. The oil cleanser melts away makeup, sunscreen, and buildup, and the bar finishes the cleanse so skin feels truly clean and balanced, not stripped.
Uses saponified organic oils rather than synthetic surfactants to cleanse gently and effectively.
Coconut milk and pink kaolin clay help cleanse and clarify without disrupting the skin barrier.
Rose powder, rosemary extract, and essential oils provide botanical support and antioxidant benefits.
Leaves skin feeling clean, soft, and refreshed rather than tight or stripped.
The solid bar format reduces packaging waste and simplifies daily skincare routines.
Things to Keep in Mind
This bar contains essential oils (geranium, rosemary, carrot seed), which may irritate very sensitive or reactive skin.
Sodium hydroxide is necessary for soap-making and is fully neutralized during saponification.
As with all solid cleansing bars, allow it to dry thoroughly between uses to extend its life.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Notes
The base oils (palm, coconut, olive), coconut milk, clay, and botanical powders are generally considered low risk for topical use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Because this bar contains essential oils including rosemary and carrot seed, many pregnancy-focused practitioners recommend limiting essential-oil–heavy skincare, especially during the first trimester.
If used during pregnancy or while nursing, patch testing is advised.
