What I Like
EWG Rating: 2 — low hazard, reflecting a relatively clean ingredient profile for an oil-based facial cleanser.
The formula relies entirely on organic carrier oils and botanical extracts, with no petroleum-derived ingredients.
Jojoba, apricot, avocado, castor, and rosehip oils effectively dissolve makeup and sunscreen while supporting the skin barrier.
Vitamin E provides antioxidant support to help protect skin from oxidative stress.
Leaves skin clean, soft, and balanced — not stripped or greasy.
Works beautifully for normal, combination, and slightly sensitive skin types.
Things to Keep in Mind
This formula contains essential oils (orange, geranium, lavender, peppermint, rosemary), which may irritate very sensitive or compromised skin barriers.
As with all oil cleansers, it’s important to rinse thoroughly to prevent residue — especially if you are acne-prone in certain areas.
The presence of citrus essential oil (orange) may increase sun sensitivity, particularly if used before prolonged sun exposure.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Notes
The carrier oils (jojoba, apricot kernel, avocado, castor, rosehip) and vitamin E are generally considered low risk for topical use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Because this formula contains multiple essential oils (including citrus, peppermint, rosemary, lavender, and geranium), many pregnancy-focused practitioners recommend limiting essential-oil–heavy skincare, particularly in the first trimester.
